Position Title: Software Developer

Your Job:

Design and launch market-leading software products for Souktel clients, working as part of our rapidly growing development team. This position is full-time, based in Ramallah, and may involve travel to other countries. Salary is highly competitive and includes stock options.

Your Responsibilities:

(Drive new software projects from inception to delivery, through Agile development processes.

(Draft requirements and storyboards; work together with peer developers to design, code, & unit-test new market-leading software solutions.  

(Work closely with Souktel’s QA engineers on bug fixes and stress testing, throughout the QA process.

Required Qualifications:

(Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

(Minimum 2 years’ prior experience coding in PHP Laravel and MySQL (Python is a plus).

(Experience writing automated unit test suites for web-based products.

(Experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies.

(Good English Skills: able to interact with English-speaking clients.

(Ability to work independently, without direct daily supervision—and a strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.  

Experience with version control software such as Git or Subversion
